LEGOLAND® Holiday Village: A unique overnight experience in the heart of the LEGO® world
To discover all eleven themed areas at LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort, visitors should plan to spend more than just a few hours. Since opening in 2002, LEGOLAND Deutschland has developed from a popular family theme park into a diverse short-break destination. In 2008, the Holiday Village opened directly next to the park. Since then, the resort has repeatedly been recognized by various travel platforms as one of Germany’s most popular family hotels. Today, visitors are drawn not only to the park itself, but also to the 240 themed rooms, campsite, camping barrels, impressive castle complex, and the unique Pirate Island Hotel, featuring a total of 1,500 LEGO® models. With the NINJAGO® Quarter and the Forest Adventure Lodge, which opened in 2024, the LEGOLAND Holiday Village can accommodate up to 3,156 overnight guests. For an unforgettable stay with a complete feel-good experience even after the park closes, Holiday Village guests can enjoy a bowling center, high ropes course, numerous adventure playgrounds, and a pirate mini-golf course.

Pirate Island Hotel
Ship-shaped beds, pirate menus, a pirate ship playground, and more than 1,500 LEGO models – the Pirate Island Hotel at the LEGOLAND Holiday Village is designed to recreate the atmosphere of a real pirate island. Inspired by the LEGO pirate theme, the resort features 142 themed rooms across two buildings and offers accommodation for up to 594 little and big pirates. Guests can enjoy hearty pirate-themed meals at the hotel restaurant “Pirate Tavern,” which offers 320 indoor seats and 120 outdoor seats. The hotel is arranged in an L-shape around a huge playground, with the impressive pirate ship as the centerpiece of the play area. This large wooden dream ship provides young pirates with plenty of space to set sail and conquer the LEGO seas.
Be the King of LEGOLAND
Guests can feel transported to the LEGO Middle Ages in the Castle Complex, featuring the Knight’s Castle, King’s Castle, and Dragon Castle. With 68 family rooms spread across three floors, the King’s Castle is the largest of the three. Both the Dragon Castle and Knight’s Castle offer 34 lavishly themed rooms decorated with LEGO models. All castle rooms feature separate sleeping areas, with a king-size bed for parents and a bunk bed for children. For a truly royal overnight experience, guests can stay in one of the twelve King’s Rooms in the King’s Castle, accommodating up to five people. Culinary delights are provided by the chefs at the “The Round Table” restaurant.
Sleep like a Pharaoh
The 120 themed houses, each featuring two family rooms, make children’s dreams come true. Whether sleeping like a pharaoh, a racing driver, or an adventurer, all four-bed rooms feature two separate sleeping areas with a double bed and a bunk bed. The six-bed accommodations offer an open living area with a double bed and bunk bed, as well as two additional single beds on a mezzanine level. Some rooms are connected by adjoining doors, allowing up to eight guests to stay together. One accessible house is specially equipped for wheelchair users.
NINJAGO® Quarter
The 72 colorful and lovingly themed family rooms, each featuring a separate children’s bedroom and a private balcony or terrace, bring the dreams of young and old LEGO NINJAGO® fans to life. The children’s rooms in the NINJAGO® Quarter are inspired by a diamond cave, where Lloyd and Kai guard the sparkling treasures – and, of course, the dreams of every child.
Forest Adventure Lodge™
Follow the call of nature: at the LEGOLAND® Forest Adventure Lodge™, families can stay in a wonderful world inspired by woodland and wildlife, idyllically located among the greenery of a birch grove. The 80 four-bed rooms and spacious outdoor area feature playgrounds, play equipment, and numerous LEGO figures, including foxes, deer, and bunnies. The “Hungry Bear” restaurant serves Bavarian Alpine cuisine.
Camping Like No Other
Outdoor enthusiasts can also enjoy a unique experience at the LEGOLAND® Holiday Village. At the campsite, guests can arrive with their motorhomes, caravans, or tents, with 165 pitches available for campers. In addition, 14 rustic pirate-themed barrels and 25 LEGO wilderness-style barrels offer a truly unique camping experience. Each camping barrel accommodates up to four people and features a sleeping area as well as a small living space that can be transformed into a sleeping area for children.
Great Food and Endless Fun at the Holiday Village
The central dining complex at the LEGOLAND® Holiday Village offers two restaurants to suit every taste. At the Jungle Buffet, guests can enjoy changing themed buffets every day, while the chefs at the Steak House Restaurant prepare their grilled specialties in an open kitchen. Additional restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating are located in the King’s Castle, Pirate Island Hotel, and Forest Adventure Lodge.
Parents can relax and enjoy the evening on the terrace while their children continue the fun at one of the many adventure playgrounds.
