Do you prefer a LEGOLAND® Cancellation cover or a classic travel insurance including holiday guarantee?
There are many factors that can prevent you from being able to take a well-deserved holiday, especially when you're travelling with children: Illness, accidents, loss of a job, but also the coronavirus pandemic. Together with our partner HanseMerkus we therefore offer two different insurance options in order to protect your booking.

With our travel cancellation protection, you can cancel or rebook your family stay up to 12 noon on the day before your arrival free of charge and without providing a reason. Simply email us at info@LEGOLANDholidays.de and we will cancel your booking and refund you the full amount of the trip (minus the cancellation protection fee of €29.00).
Alternatively, up to 12 noon on the day before your arrival, we can also reschedule your booking to another date. This gives you maximum flexibility and you can look forward to your family time in LEGOLAND Germany with no worries!
You can take out LEGOLAND travel cancellation protection when you book or up to three days after booking. If you have not booked any cancellation protection or in the event of cancellations after 12 noon, the cancellation terms in our general conditions of travel apply.
Please note that LEGOLAND travel cancellation protection is not conventional travel cancellation insurance. Should you need protection up to your arrival or during your stay, you can take out travel cancellation insurance with our partner HanseMerkur following this booking.
HanseMerkur's travel cancellation insurance plus holiday guarantee is conventional travel cancellation insurance, in other words you are covered up to the day of arrival and throughout the entire stay.
If you cancel a travel booking for an insured reason or delay the start of a trip, HanseMerkur compensates you for the contractually agreed cancellation costs.
Insured reasons are, for example, serious accidental injury, unexpected and serious illness, death and loss of employment.
Please note that proof must be provided of both the cancellation costs incurred and the reason for the cancellation. Following your booking, you can take out travel cancellation insurance directly with HanseMerkur.
