Important questions & answers regarding Annual Passes:

  • I own a valid LEGOLAND, Merlin South, Merlin or Merlin Premium Annual Pass and I was not able to use them for 9 weeks due to administrative orders concerning the closure of theme parks. What can I do?

    Under these special circumstances, all annual passes which are valid after 17 March 2020 will be extended by up to 4 months (up to 3 months due to the closure + up to 1 month due to the admission limitation) from the expiry date free of charge.

    We will deal with the extension for you. The extension will be done automatically in our ticket system, so you won’t have to deal with anything. It is not necessary to issue the annual pass a second time. The new expiration date is automatically corrected in the system.

    Please note that you must reserve a fixed date online in advance before visiting with your annual pass.

  • I have bought a LEGOLAND annual pass online, but I have not yet redeemed it at the attraction and therefore the annual pass is not active. What can I do?

    All LEGOLAND annual passes bought until now will keep their validity. The term of the annual pass begins on the first day of the redemption of the online ticket at site.

    You will be able to redeem your online ticket at LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort just like before within 3 years after purchase.

    Please note that you must reserve a fixed date online in advance before visiting.

  • I have purchased a Merlin Annual Pass online, but I have not yet redeemed the online ticket at the concerning attraction and therefore activated the annual pass. What am I supposed to do?

    All so far purchased Merlin Annual Passes will keep their validity. The term of the Merlin Annual Pass does only starts on the first usage day at site at the concerning attraction.

    You will be able to redeem your online ticket to a LEGOLAND or a Merlin Annual Pass like usual at LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort during the whole season 2020.

    Please note that you must reserve a fixed date online in advance before visiting.

    Furthermore the online ticket will still only be redeemable at the attraction where you purchased our Merlin Annual Pass online.

  • My annual pass is expiring soon. What can I do?

    As usual you will be able to renew your annual pass 4 weeks prior and 4 weeks after expiry for a special renewal price at: www.LEGOLAND.de/en/tickets/annual-passes/annual-pass-renewal/.

    If you wish, you can also renew your annual pass at site within a month after reopening.

  • My annual pass expired during the closing period and I have already purchased a renewal online. What can I do?

    Annual pass holders with a parking pass can come to the annual passes office during their visit and will receive a new annual pass. Please note that you must reserve a fixed date online in advance before visiting.

    Merlin South Annual Passes, Merlin Annual Passes, Merlin Premium Annual Passes: These passes grant you access to other attractions which are not connected to this data base. The validity of Merlin Annual Passes are therefore checked by the visible expiry dates on the concerning pass. Therefore, every renewed annual pass must be reissued prior to a visit to another attraction. (Hint: Only one family member is enough and can take care of the reissue at site.)

    Please note that the Merlin Annual Passes can only be issued at the attraction where the renewal was done online.

  • The automatic, free renewal of up to 4 months of my LEGOLAND or Merlin Annual Pass will end during the winter break of the parks and I cannot use the renewal to a full extent. What can I do?

    In addition to the renewal of up to 4 months, which we grant you due to the closure and the following admission limitation, we will renew concerning annual passes as follows:
    Annual passes which expire after the automatic, free renewal between 8 November 2020 and park opening in 2021 will be renewed until 30 April 2021.

    We will take care of the renewal for you. The renewal will be automatically saved in the ticket system so you won’t have to deal with anything. It is not necessary to issue the Annual Passes again. The new expiration date of your Annual Pass is automatically saved correctly in the system.
