What`s New in 2009

NEW in 2009: LEGOLAND ATLANTIS by SEA LIFE:

The new indoor Underwater World is inhabited by 1,000 fish together with models consisting of over a million LEGO® bricks. Join us on an exciting voyage along the ocean floor to the sunken city of Atlantis. You will meet sharks, rays and other tropical fish along the way. Particularly intrepid visitors can come face to face with the creatures of the deep in the eight-metre-long glass tunnel. LEGOLAND® ATLANTIS by SEA LIFE is opening its gates on 21st May.

New 2009: Exclusively by LEGOLAND® Deutschland

From 5th April, all children can experience their favourite hero Bob the Builder at close hand in the new 4D film and assist him in the construction of a roller coaster.

New 2009: LEGO® Photo Walls

It’s the ultimate LEGO® jigsaw puzzle, and it’s only available at LEGOLAND! For years it’s been possible to take home a picture of you and your friends and family taken on your favourite LEGOLAND ride, but new for 2009, you can have any of the photos printed on to a wall of LEGO bricks! Not only does it look great on your shelf at home, you can take it apart and rebuild it, just like a jigsaw!

Divers test underwater models

Today, nearly three months before the new Atlantis underwater attraction is opened, LEGO® model designers and divers tested the first LEGO figures in a saltwater basin. From 21st May 2009, numerous LEGO models will be located permanently underwater for the first time and provide the backdrop for more than 1,000 real fish in a 535,000-litre ocean tank. Divers and model designers tested the structures today at the saline spa in Königsbrunn to investigate their buoyancy and floating characteraistics

LEGOLAND® holiday village
